    Our Story

The Jewish Wisdom Society was founded by Saj and Hadassah Freiberg in 2022 under the auspices of Aish Global. We are dedicated to strengthening the Jewish people through Jewish literacy. We began with an event in Chelsea with New York Times journalist Bret Stephens. Since then we have hosted luminaries like author Dara Horn, journalist Douglas Murray, and celebrated author and physicist Brian Greene.

Saj grew up on the Upper West Side, graduated from Oberlin College with a degree in Theater, but then somehow found himself studying Torah for almost 10 years in Jerusalem. After founding and running several Jewish outreach programs in Florida, he returned to Manhattan to launch The Jewish Wisdom Society. To hear Hadassah's story you'll have to come over to our place for Shabbos.
